Currently you may not open a Binance account and verify it as a Zimbabwean, however there is an alternative in the form of SAFEPAL. SafePal is an app/crypto wallet that was launched on Binance and has Binance listed as a service on its app.
Users are able to use Binance, through SafePal without needing to verify their account, with very minor limitations - one such limitation is a maximum of 20x leverage on Binance Futures.
Download the SafePal app, then the first thing you should do is to create a wallet - this is where your assets will be stored. Note that this is different to your Binance wallet so don't be in a rush to send funds to the SafePal wallet just yet, as you'd want to fund 'Binance' directly.
Once you create a wallet, be sure to write/store your back up keys. You either go for a 12 or 24 word phrase, or the various other options. Once you're confident that you have your wallet backed up, you then go to their DApp services - there are 4 boxes in the centre - tap there.
Once at the services, you should see Binance, if not search for it. Tap on the Binance service and then create an account.
Once you have an account, you then proceed to fund it and start buying the tokens that you want - called Spot, or you can trade leverage - called Futures.
There will never be a point where they ask you to verify, and you don't even need to use a VPN to access the services - as of October 2021.
Happy trading!
